The story of Ira A. Delkin is a confusing one to say the least.
Below is a breakdown of who is in the pictures and how they relate to each other.

Claude Wilmer Garr changed his name to Ira Anton Delkin.
You will find the names of Garr/Delkin intermixed, but they are one and the same.

We called him Pappy

First wife was Kippie
They had two children.
1: Claud Wilmer Garr Jr..  ( always referred to as Wilmer )
2: Kitty Lou Garr

Second Wife was Mildred
They had two children.
Ruth Delkin
Nancy Delkin

Third Wife was Myrtle
No children.

Had two brothers.
1: Emitt Garr ( don't know anything about him )
2: Charles A. Garr  ( buried in Lexington, Kentucky but lived in Georgia as far as I know.  No Pictures)

	Delrose Club 2137 North Limestone Lexington, Kentucky This was a Private Club back in the 40's Only open on Sundays. Ira Delkin was the owner and got around the Kentucky Blue Law (No Business Open on Sunday) By charging each member the price of a case of beer as a membership fee. Then when the customer who had a key to the club came in, they were charged 25 cents (price of beer in those days) for keeping the beer on ice. Club had a large dance floor with a Jute-Box for music and sometimes a Live Band. There where 3 Slot Machines in a special room off to the right. Slot Machines were illegal in those days.
	Ira Delkin Place and Date are not known. F.W.I.W.  You will never see a picture of him without his Cigar.
	Do not know who Jane is,  but Emitt is believed to be Ira Delkin's brother. Picture taken in 1930 Place Unknown.
	Lady with the hat is Kippie Delkin Ira Delkin's first wife. Lady to the right is Kitty Delkin (Kippie's Daughter) Holding Ruth Delkin Whitsitt ( her daughter ) Other two children are not known.
	Kitty Delkin Note on picture says in the Back Yard. Assumed to be Louisville, Kentucky where they lived.
	Kitty Delkin at Boone Tavern in Berea Kentucky. Do not know what Boone Tavern was in those days, but it is now a fine restaurant run by the Berea College.  Most all hired help in the restaurant are from the college.

	Kitty Lou Garr about 2 years old. Born 8/10/1902 Yes this is Kitty Delkin.  Her father changed his name to Ira Delkin
	Mack McFarland (Kitty's Husband) Garland T. Smith (Her Nephew) Kitty Delkin McFarland Picture taken in the Late 40's to Early 50's Building in the background is part of the Delrose Club. The addition you see was where the Live Band played.

	Ira Delkin Note on picture says Dosoning Pike off of Tates Creek I cannot find a Dosoning Pike off of Tates Creek but did find a Donoldson Rd. At any rate it is somewhere South East of Lexington, Kentucky

	Wilmer Garr with wife 4/12/1925 Wilmer Garr is the only son of Ira Delkin.
